The Trust for Public Land creates parks and protects land for people to enjoy, ensuring healthier, more livable communities for generations to come. They also help communities identify the most critical land for conservation, then create and carry out plans to protect it. Often their plans require communities to raise funds in order to purchase and protect land.
Since 2002 we have worked with the Trust for Public Land to provide temporary loans to prevent the development of vital lands – while also providing communities with much needed time to raise awareness and the funds to protect the land permanently.
Our partnership has resulted in the protection of 13 different properties throughout New England.
